Confused about what is going on in WHOIS privacy? Wondering what ICANN is
going to do about GDPR compliance? You are not alone! In order to help our
members understand the state of play as of the beginning of March, a mere
two and
a half months from the start of enforcement of the General Data Protection
Regulation in Europe, we are holding a webinar on Friday, March 2 at 14.00
UTC.

Stephanie Perrin will present a summary of what is going on. She is active
on the
GNSO RDS PDP which has been looking at policy for registration data, and on
the
RDS Review Team, the WHOIS Conflicts with Law IRT, and is monitoring the
Privacy
Proxy Services Accreditation Issues IRT.
A representative from the ICANN organization will be also attending,
updating us on the latest progress.

Please bring your questions, this is a chance to get up to speed on these
challenging issues prior to the policy meeting in San Juan ICANN61, where
GDPR will remain a key topic of discussion.
If time allows, we will also discuss the NCSG position on WHOIS GDPR
related issues.
