ICAANN CEO latest blog on GDPR

Thanks for the link. I would read this as back-pedalling somewhat from 
his earlier announced position that he was responsible and he would make 
the decision on the model. I think that the contracted parties have 
pushed back rather forcefully to point out that no contract which put 
them at risk of being in non-compliance with law was enforceable, and 
that they would not comply with a model which did not comply with the 
GDPR.  One interpretation of the recent, rather confusing letter from 
the Commission, was that none of the proposed models complied with the 
GDPR.  This is certainly my view.
