[Public Comments] Call for Volunteers for Comment on Proposed gTLD-Registration Data Access Protocol (RDAP) Profile

Hi all,

ICANN published a new public comment on Study on Proposed gTLD-Registration
Data Access Protocol (RDAP) Profile. This public comment may be relevant to
ongoing work on EPDP to some extent. Quoting the public comment description:

"*Purpose:* The Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration Data adopted
by the ICANN Board on 17 May 2018 directed the creation of a gTLD-RDAP
Profile(s) as a prerequisite to launching the Registration Data Access
Protocol (RDAP) service across the gTLD space. ICANN org has received a
proposal from a discussion group of gTLD registries and registrars and is
asking the community for input.
*Current Status:* ICANN org has received a proposal from a discussion group
of gTLD registries and registrars for a gTLD-RDAP Profile and is asking the
community for input in order to finalize it and proceed with the
implementation of RDAP services in the gTLD space."

Please let me know offlist if you want to volunteer for the drafting. We
are trying lately to have team of drafters as a way to involve more people
and share the workload. Those who were/are involved on whois/RDS can help
and give guidance, I will also support you when needed. The topic may
interest those with technical background.
