Dear Michael

I agree that it is not optimal to have only one candidate for each
position. But sometimes it happens. especially when candidates are running
for the second term. Sometimes others do not participate if they find  a
candidate fit for the position (as it happened for the NCSG chair
position). But if you have ideas about encouraging members to run for
various positions please let us know.
