Hi Lado,
Unfortunately ICANN is not responsible for any of these areas, ICANNs mission is narrowly limited to DNS policy for domain names and is not responsible for the security of the internet.

Dear Farzaneh,

Thank you for your email. Meeting with the CEO is a best possibility to discuss about problems, and for planning a process of future cooperation.

I would like to add with a main topics my topics as well, especially:

- Supporting by ICANN to Academy for research of problematic issues of the Internet, and Involve in this process the Universities and Institutes, which have all the necessary resources for a process of research. Process of researching problems of the Internet according to specific areas with a globally is a best way to development a working process for a decision makers of ICANN;

- As I see approach of ICANN for Security of Internet/Cyber Security is more globally, than on the National level. But Globally of Security of Internet/Cyber Security is depend on the National, and sometimes on the Regional Level. It would be good if ICANN would also pay attention to the national level of problems of Security of Internet with compliance to International standards. Strategy and Policy of the Security of Internet on the National level is an important;

- I think that within ICANN will be possible create an information center where will exchange experience and information on Internet security (attacks, malware, strategy, policy, process of development, and etc.). Representatives of different countries will be involved in the activities of the Center, which will also be able to issue recommendations.

Thank you and Good luck with a meeting!

Kind regards,

Lado

Dear members

I will have a meeting with the CEO on Friday the 17th. The issues that I have in mind to discuss with him are:

Unified Access Model and NCSG perspective. (we had some preliminary discussions on the list about it, hopefully, we will have some common positions which I can relay on Friday.)

Cross Community Sessions and dominance of the organizer

The need to have a more privacy-minded ICANN org and community

This is quite a full agenda and he would want to also talk about issues.

Please comment on the current issues by tomorrow and let me know if you have any other topic you would like to be discussed.

Best regards

Farzaneh
