Response to the WP29 Letter on GDPR and comments on ICANN statement

Dear all,

As I shared a couple of weeks ago, WP29 responded and provided guidance to
ICANN about compliance with GDPR. ICANN provided an answer
https://www.icann.org/news/announcement-2018-04-12-en which we discussed on
the mailing list.


The following link is our response to ICANN's statement before their
upcoming meeting with WP29. We have to send this tomorrow since they meet
on Monday. I am sorry about this late notice but some of the issues in the
letter has been discussed on the list. Find the link below and comment as
needed until tomorrow. I will close the document in roughly 12 hours .
