Update on privacy issues April 2018

Attached is a brief update on what has been happening with respect to 
data protection and WHOIS (Registration data services).  As most members 
are aware, there is a great flurry of activity to comply with the GDPR 
before May 25.  For those not able to follow closely, this update 
provides a summary of some key developments, current risks, and some 
links to documents.

Please don't hesitate to ask questions, and if anyone would like to be 
an observer on some of the activities, let me know and we will provide 
the links.
