Hi all,

We have a new public comment regarding the draft final report of nomcom
review https://www.icann.org/public-comments/nomcom2-review-2018-03-27-en.
The review is an important process to evaluate and do a structural
assessment of organization like nomcom.
We expressed previously some concerns about the non-commercial
representation there and during our NCSG meeting in PR we discussed about
the changes on operatinng procedures. This is an another opportunity for us
to reinforce our points and to review the recommendations from the
independent examiner which may be far from being satisfactory.

I created a google doc here https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lBL_
xRnYeIzQYXjK4nw0P8b7_cEOOuZVNouzdp3uvgU/edit . For reference, our comment
on the initial report made in last January is here: https://docs.google.com/
document/d/13uG7wN5FWFa1E3cpDPfUolsIxlN4WpMw73FWOxx8VEU/edit

It is a good opportunity for those interested on organizational matter and
want to learn more about structure like nomcom and its functioning.
We have Brenden and Nadira as members in the review working party, if I am
not mistaking, and also several former NCUC representatives to nomcom who
may help and give insights and advices. Reviewing the report and the
background material is first step to get familiar with the issue and
recommendations.

Please let me know offlist if you want to volunteer for drafting and join a
drafting team. Farzaneh and myself will also support the team.

You can find previous public comment submitted by NCSG here
