Hi everyone,
Thank you Tapani, Rafik and Ayden for the welcoming messages.
My name is Nick Shorey, I'm formerly a GAC representative for the UK Government, and looking forward to continuing my engagement in policy development in my personal capacity as part of the NCSG community, many of whose members I have enjoyed working with already during the IANA transition project.
I currently work in cyber security for Crowdstrike, and I'm a member of the Internet Society's UK chapter. I'm interested in advancing the security of the DNS in a manner that also balances privacy and consumer trust, along with the responsible management and growth to facilitate access and development, particularly for emerging economies and those as yet unconnected.
I'm already a member of the Next-Gen RDS and gTLD subsequent Procedures working groups, and an observer on the SSR2 work.
I look forward to contributing my thoughts and insight to the positive discussions!
