Some important information for US citizens with connecting flights in
Turkey and Turkish citizens with connecting flights in the United States
that Siranush shared with the Abu Dhabi Fellows group:

holds US citizen and Turkish citizen passports and/or be travelling to
ICANN60 through Istanbul: Both the United States and Turkey have suspended
all non-immigrant visa services for travel between the two countries after
recent diplomatic disputes. Until further notice, United States citizens
traveling to Turkey will not be granted an ordinary visa or
visa-upon-arrival e-visa. Similarly, Turkish citizens applying for a visa
to enter the United States will not be granted. WHAT WE KNOW: 1. No visa
will be issued at this time for citizens of either country. Travelers
without a valid entry visa will be denied entry. 2. Valid entry visas for
United States citizens traveling to Turkey and valid entry visas for Turkey
citizens going to the United States should be honored. 3. Non-United States
and Turkey passport holders are not affected. 4. For ICANN60, United States
citizens transiting in Istanbul are not impacted as long as their transit
does not exceed 10 hours. During this time, you will not be allowed to
leave the airport without a valid visa. 5. Turkish citizens transiting
