Hi Ayden,

I agree, and marked it on my calendar when I saw it without much thought
about it. In fact, I assumed it was simply a continuation of the discussion
that began during the first face-to-face meeting with the Cross-Community
Working Group on Internet Governance (CCWG-IG) at ICANN58. Farzaneh noticed
it as well, however, and sent a message asking for clarification to the
CCWG-IG list. We'll see what they say.

Either way, remote participation is available as you can see, and I
personally encourage anyone involved in a national and regional IGF
initiative (NRI) to participate since ICANN involvement and sponsorship is
often critical to their success. The board members in attendance in
Copenhagen seemed to agree, but providing direct examples of how ICANN
involvement helped the NRIs will likely go a long way.
