Farzaneh Badii: that's UCTN
Farzaneh Badii: It's great to see new NCSG members here
Rafik: open discussion about closed generics :)
Farzaneh Badii: what is closed generics?
Kathy: Note Global Public Interest in Work Track 2
Nadira Alaraj: OMG....to much details
Stephanie Perrin: Is that where the definition of public interest has now landed?
Rafik: @Farzaneh I think canses of string like .book managed by a sole registry and not open to others
Farzaneh Badii: we probably have to give Avri 90 minutes to explain this
Farzaneh Badii: but this is a very important issue and has global implications
Stephanie Perrin: I have lost track on that one, am on the mailing list but have heard nothing in recent months (global PI)
Bruna Santos: this questionnaire was huge and a great start to understanding the topics
Farzaneh Badii: do you have the link handy Bruna?
Rafik: the new gTLD program was enough conplicated and detailled, the applicant guidebook around 400 pages
Farzaneh Badii: I read parts of that. made me dizzy

Anriette Esterhuysen: When you are in Johannesburg at the NCUC outreach event. We will present the study there.
Farzaneh Badii: that's a good idea Anriette
Anriette Esterhuysen: The state of DNS in Africa was not encouraging.
