CCWG-IG/ Do we want a CCWG on Internet Governance?

Hey all,

I agree with Ayden! I've seen ICANN at Schools on Internet Governance
around the world, but I think there should be more strategic and inclusive
involvement. I mentioned this in our meeting at Johannesburg, and I'll
write it here: we should work on two sides: 1. Getting the IG community to
understand the relevance of ICANN in the field thus shape our interactions
in a way where people in that wider community could possibly be able to
participate and give opinions on some of the main issues we work on. 2.
Maybe we should have a talk amongst us and create a more outlined link with
IG for our ICANN community keeping in mind the new developments with the
GDPR, with more and more privacy issues being put on the table.

Would be happy to elaborate if need be!
