This week, more news on 2016 Internet Governance review and outkook 2017. Furthemore, India and the USA have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for cooperation in the field of cyber security. On Internet privacy, The European Commission is proposing new legislation to ensure stronger privacy in electronic communications. On Internet access, online checks controlling whether children are accessing pornographic sites have been defined as a breach of human rights by a United Nations (UN) official as response to the British government wich announced last year that any porn site failing to implement age verification checks before people can view explicit content will be immediately blocked. On censorship, The New York Times reports<http://www.nytimes.com/2017/01/06/technology/linkedin-blocked-in-russia.html?_r=0> that Russia has forced Apple<http://fortune.com/fortune500/apple-3/> and Google<http://fortune.com/fortune500/alphabet-36/> to remove the LinkedIn mobile app from their Russian application markets while the newspaper app has been reportedly wiped from Apple's App Store in China. In the US, the Department of Commerce issues a green paper outlining guiding principles and ways to support the advancement of the Internet of Things (IoT).
