SO: It will only be a healthy competition if the only thing you share is
YOUR skills, abilities and bandwidth. Leave it to individual voters to cast
their votes based on that.

However once you as a candidate start to weigh your skills, bandwidth and
ability against that of your fellow candidates, I don't see how that can
result to a healthy competition. IMO that is exactly what Niel's question
will achieve even if it wasn't intended.


The role of a GNSO Councillor is like a three-legged stool; one must have
the right positions on the issues, the right character, and competence. If
one of these legs is missing, it doesn't matter how strong the other two
are — the entire structure could collapse.


SO: Candidates are not equal in all aspects hence you don't expect all the
3 legs to be balanced otherwise there will be no room for learning and
generation building.


As a voter, you have the right to know what qualifies me for this office —
but you also have the right to know what may make me, or the other
candidates, unsuitable.


SO: Yes we do but as a voter I don't think I should have to ask you a
candidate on your thoughts about your fellow candidates in other to inform
my decision as I believe doing that won't result to a healthy process.
