As it is,

I can not think of a more suitable candidate to lead the NCSG, than Avri
Doria.

The whole of ICANN knows of Avri and most people have at least an idea of
the extent of work she's done for ICANN and especially for the NCSG over
the years. Those who don't, can have a look at the page of the first
Multistakeholder Ethos Award that, coincidentally, was given to Avri, for a
plethora of reasons.

On a personal level, I've had many discussions with her about various
subjects on Internet Governance, both in the IGF as well as ICANN and she's
always been helpful in explaining things, giving historic context to past
decisions and on the "way things are", with ease and without getting
frustrated even with a curious rookie like myself.

I've heard she might be reluctant to take this position on, but I'm hoping
to rally some support for her so it would become at least that little bit
harder to turn the nomination down. I believe there is no one else, who is
more familiar with the intricacies of running a stakeholdergroup of the
civil society, in the ICANN environment. I hope others would join me in
supporting her candidacy.
