(told you, internet is v bad!)
so, while I plan to stay involved in other capacities, I have to admit serving on Council is pretty much incompatible with a full-time job :(
Unless you job is ICANN ;)
I am very grateful for those who intend to run, it is an amazing adventure :) and I will be happy to help as I can :)
Ps internet-free holidays are great ;)

Dear all, from my internet-free holidays, just a quick but bold and enthusiastic +1 to the nomination of Ayden and Tatiana for Council.

further: I am behind with my emails but someone alerted me that I have been nominated to serve another term on Council. I am grateful to whoever did it (sorry, internet is very sketchy here!!) but I will not run to serve another term at this time round. While I plan to stay involved

Dear all,

Thank you very much to Milton for the nomination, and to others who have kindly added their support for me on the list. I graciously accept this nomination.

It would be a privilege to represent our Stakeholder Group on the GNSO Council, if I were to be elected. When it is appropriate to do so, I look forward to sharing with you what I would hope to achieve on the Council.

Best wishes, Ayden Férdeline

Hi

I’ll join the chorus, Ayden joined and immediately dove head first into the issues and processes. He has consistently shown up, engaged in a very serious and substantive manner, and gotten stuff done. He would be an excellent NCSG rep on the Council.

Ayden has been a breath of fresh air for us here in NCSG since he joined, I have been very proud to see him in the depths of ICANNs policy work pulling long hours for us on the various working groups and taskforces, I think its a natural progression to see him represent us on council and would glady add my support to this nomination.

I would also like to support Ayden's nomination.
He is one of the most dedicated and active members I have has the pleasure to work with -- a mentor in many moments and an unstoppable force in the policy processes. His (hard-to-find) capacity to liaise is coupled with determination, focus and eagerness to learn, listen and engage. Go Ayden!!

All the best,

Louise Marie Hurel

Can't agree more with everything said above!
Ayden is one of the most vocal and hard-working NCUC members. His performance on the policy committee is incredible. I hope Ayden accepts this nomination!
Cheers,

I would like to very strongly support and promote Ayden’s nomination, if he accepts! I’ve been working with him since the first day he step inside ICANN and I am currently working with him in many different projects. He has proven over and over to be commited and with knowledge to deal with the policy and process stuff needed in the Council.

I welcome Milton’s idea!

Go Ayden! And if he doesn’t accept, I will still use the opportunity to publicly thank him and give my support to his work, even when we don’t meet eye to eye in every topic.

Cheers,
Martín Silva

I completely agree with Stephanie’s endorsement. I’ve been extremely impressed in recent years with how quickly and how deeply Ayden has been able to dive into NCSG’s policy work and move our agenda forward, including protecting the privacy rights of Internet users. I’m quite sure Ayden would make an excellent representative for NCSG and would continue to work hard to advance our shared goals on council.

Thanks,
Robin

I would like to waste no time in seconding this nomination. Besides being heavily involved in outreach and next gen activities, Ayden has worked extremely hard in his time at ICANN. He has done a great deal of research on the RDS issues, and follows the meetings with regular and very helpful interventions. He clearly has a very strong work ethic and the policy capacity to understand our complex little world at ICANN. It would be great to have him on Council. I sincerely hope that he accepts this nomination.

Dear all
I am not sure whether this nomination will be accepted, but based entirely on PERFORMANCE, I would like to nominate Ayden Ferdeline for the GNSO Council.
The most important quality to bring to the Council is an understanding of the DNS policy issues and ICANN procedures required to get things done.
Believe me, there are very few people who are actively tracking these policy issues and able to liaise with the entire SG to move comments and position development forward.
So I think Ayden would be a great Council representative for the NCSG and I hope he accepts.
