Hi everyone,I find very disturbing that a proprietary close platform is preventing participation, platform should really not be more important than people, their existence is to support enhance and facilitate participation. I find it very much disturbing and unjust, really think we cannot as community just accept ithvalevalentina pellizzer President One World Platform   http://oneworldplatform.net/  mobile: +387 (0)61 484 038 twitter: @froatosebe  Fingerprint 30AA 9445 D878 A6C9 FE41 E90D 52A5 36A6 B249 EDA9---- On Tue, 01 Aug 2017 14:18:34 +0200 Stephanie Perrin<stephanie.perrin at MAIL.UTORONTO.CA> wrote ---- I am sorry to hear this Dorothy, you would be a great Chair and it is a shame that lack of Adobe cuts you off from more participation! This has affected my participation in meetings and will no doubt continue to do so. Note that the deadline given in the check-in request message was not final, it's just the time after which we'll assume you didn't get it and send a new one, or later try to reach you with other means. (A new message was just sent today to those who didn't respond last week.) The final deadline for check-in is when we finalize the voter roll, August 17. For our latest new members, I'm afraid you cannot vote or nominate candidates as our charter limits that to those who've been active members for at least 30 days. A bit surprisingly though you can, however, run for office if someone else nominates you. -- Tapani Tarvainen
