Welcoming new members to Non-Commercial Stakeholder Group

Thanks everyone for the welcome, thrilled to join and to see great fellow
Fellows ICANN58 joining too.

I'm Cláudio, I'm a Faculty at UEPB, a Brazilian university. I work on
technology policy issues, and I'm currently on leave for a research project
at Georgetown University, DC.

I see a constant risk that the possibilities of the digital environment are
restricted by economic and political interests that not always aim at the
common good. I'm already engaged in a couple of initiatives where there's
space to work for better balances in these issues and NCUC seems to be a
very interesting initiative in this direction within the ICANN ecosystem.

I'd appreciate to know if there's already a schedule for the monthly's
policy calls or if they are set just every month depending on everyone's
conveniences, since I believe it is a good moment for newcomers to identify
issues, follow the discussions and start engaging.

Also, I've been assisting Renata in doing outreach activities last week,
and I was wondering if there wouldn't be a presentation or summarized data
about the constituency that we might use or just refer to when there's a
chance of speaking about the structure, role, numbers, work and current
priorities of the group.

Thanks again and all the best,
Cláudio
