Google exploring registrar business

Apparently Google has been testing a service that would make it a
registrar for about a year.  Initial reports were that it was invite
only, but it seems to be available if you know about it.

A news article pointed me at https://domains.google.com/about/

Of note is that their pricing seems to be no higher than competitors,
but includes WhoIS privacy as a standard feature.

For a beta, at first glance it seems reasonably complete - except for
the lack of an API for DNSSEC key rollover.

This isn't an endorsement - just information.
