[Poll] reminder: Topics for discussion: NCSG - ICANN Board meeting Tuesday 9th February

Thank you Ed for this comments. Since my participation in ATRT2 I noticed that ICANN has a very blurry idea of "compliance", as understood in other regulated sectors like finance (to fight money laundering, tax evasion, etc) and those entities take compliance very seriously. In the end, after 3 serious requests for a formal organizational chart I never got a clear answer on the compliance function. And the chars disappeared as well.

In LA or just before, Fadi announced another tip level advisor on (contract?) compliance, reporting to him.

Question

Can a formal definition of the compliance function help the issues you mention?
