Ok, so would NCSG and its constituencies agree with a joint letter with ALAC calling for reinstatement of Fridays?

I was hoping that this would be handled in a cross-constituency WG since all of ICANN has a stake in how this issue evolves. But be the situation as it is, this is an area where I see common goals and potential for common positions.

I could agree to that, perhaps with ™ + 50 as a case in point? What do others think? We generally seem to find common ground more easily on process/institutional stuff rather than specific gTLD issues, and this is a big one we've raise in and out of council….

Best,

Bill

I here relate to the launch of the first new GTLDs in the next few months. I'm confident we will have to tackle unforeseen cases and perhaps we need to elaborate (prepare) a plan of (re-)action to what will happen.

(Remember, we've got remote participation, so you don't have to be in South Africa to participate at the meeting). Please send your suggested topics to this list or me directly asap so we can build the various discussion agendas accordingly. Thank you! - Robin
