Controversial redirection scheme draws millions more users to Verisign site

Verisign's Sitefinder online redirection scheme helped make the company's website one of the most popular places on the Internet, according to ComScore Media Metrix. The site drew 31 million unique users in September 2003, up from a historical average of nearly 5 million users per month.
