you may be aware, the Expedited Policy
Development Process (EPDP) to address the
Temporary Specification for gTLD Registration
Data will start its phase 2A soon and there is
a process to confirm the representatives from
each group by november 15th - by the latest. </span></p>

<p dir="ltr"
style="line-height:1.38;text-align:justify;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;">As
you might be already aware, Phase 2A will
address the issue of "</span><span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);vertical-align:baseline;">Legal
vs. natural persons</span><span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;">",
among other topics. And we are launching </span><span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;">a
call for three candidates to be appointed -
two members and one alternate - on behalf of
NCSG</span><span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;">. </span></p>

EPDP charter outlines the requirements for
EPDP-appointed members:</span></p>

in the training selected for the EPDP Team

is an expectation to commit actively to
participating in the EPDP. It is an
expectation that members will represent the
position of their appointing organization and
not their personal views. The NCSG’s appointed
members are therefore expected to liaise with
the NCSG Policy Committee, consult with wider
membership, and to coordinate their positions
with their fellow NCSG representatives on the
EPDP team and the NCSG GNSO Councillors. All
EPDP members must sign a Statement of
Participation.</span></p>

<p dir="ltr"
style="line-height:1.2;margin-top:0pt;margin-bottom:0pt;"><span
style="color:rgb(0,0,0);background-color:transparent;vertical-align:baseline;">If
you are interested in representing the NCSG on
the EPDP, you must:</span></p>

Specification(s), Whois issues, and
privacy in general. Knowledge of the GDPR

positions on Whois/RDS, and outline how
you will coordinate and liaise with NCSG
and other EPDP members. You can also add
any other relevant information or
experience for consideration by the
selection committee;</span></p>
