<p>the process is for members to apply and then they get the
endorsement from the PC. Then we put forward a name from our
SG....it is not a given that the person will be chosen.</p>

As you all know, the deadline for the Next gen
selection committee and <br>
mentors program is October 15th. Stefan Filipovic
has volunteered for <br>
the Selection Committee. He was a NextGen
participant at ICANN63 and <br>
NextGen ambassador at ICANN66. Given that he has
also participated on <br>
the EPDP, and has a number of professional
qualifications and critical <br>
thinking skills which recommend him for the job, I
would like to suggest <br>
that we accept him as our nominee. I know of no
other candidates so far.<br>
