<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div>hi all,</div><div><br></div><div>I am sending this as follow-up from ICANN85 and the last wrap-up session , also based on feedback and comments for improvements, so I am suggesting those:</div><div><br></div><div><ul><li>To keep Tuesday meetings as-is for now as it is the traditional constituency day. 1 session for NCSG to set the tone/plan, the 2nd PC sessions (we keep the 1st session on saturday) , constituencies session and 2 open slots for meeting with ICANN org teams, guests or topic oriented like the civil society session we had. The 2 last open slots give flexibility and can be repurposed based on needs for whatever topics we want to discuss in depth internally or with the community.</li><li>To keep having joint meetings with other groups: CPH and CSG will be our regular session in each ICANN meeting. Meeting with SSAC/GAC/ALAC will be on every other meeting, based on availability and most important on topics. They are all asking for topics for discussion as a prerequisite when sending requests for the join meetings.</li><li>For thematic sessions we had e.g. HRIA, we will reduce to 2 or 1 to avoid clashes with other meetings e.g DNS abuse meeting and repetition. Slot on Tuesday can be used for the same purpose. In terms of process, there was a request to open that to other NCSG members who want to propose topics.</li><li>Wrap-up session will be at a different time than the scheduled wrap-up slot to avoid clash with GNSO council meeting.</li><li>About engagement/outreach, in particular with fellows/nextgen organizing presentations from them as other groups do , so possibly in Tuesday slots.</li></ul></div><div><br></div><div>What we have to do:</div><div>- We need to decide what will be the main theme/topics for the ICANN meeting in the coming days. That will help us to focus, prepare talking points and interactions. So please share your input</div><div>- As I sent previously by email, we should prepare position papers prior to the ICANN meeting so we can communicate our positions earlier</div><div>- we need to decide the topics and agenda for the meeting with SSAC/ALAC and in particular GAC. we need to decide on that asap before I send requests. Next ICANN meeting is a shorter one and unlikely to get a session with all. For SSAC, we already have a topic about educating them on HRIA. I started already reaching out but need proposed topics asap.</div><div>- Guests and ICANN teams, we can start identifying those who we want to discuss with about particular issues.</div><div>- for thematic sessions, we will have an open call for proposals for session topics for NCSG membership and make clear that means people will not just propose but do prep work for those sessions. </div><div><br></div><div><a class="gmail_plusreply" id="plusReplyChip-0" href="mailto:andrea.glandon@icann.org" tabindex="-1">@Andrea Glandon</a> please create google doc to consolidate doc for those points above.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Last point is about scheduling an ICANN85 readout in coming weeks. if there is any preferred date and format.</div><div><br></div><div>Let me know your thoughts.</div><div><br></div><div>Best,</div><div><br></div><div>Rafik</div><div><br></div><div><br></div></div>
