<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">The Policy Transition Program pilot is focused on providing participants with knowledge about new gTLD applicant support and connecting the noncommercial groups of
the GNSO with individuals seeking to contribute to policy development. The pilot currently consists of 16 participants who are alumni of the ICANN Fellowship and NextGen@ICANN programs.</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black">The first meeting of the Policy Transition Program pilot occurred on 17 October. Participants received a syllabus, which provides a timeline of the pilot, and primer
materials to learn about the development of the Applicant Support Program. You will find both the syllabus and primer materials attached for your reference.</span><span style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
