I need to consult you guys, then we (csg and
ncsg) need to set up an election, where we pick
someone to vote for us, and if we get two votes for
Matthew (ie each side votes for him) we tell staff and
Council he is our nominee. It seems a bit clumsy but
since we have had a meltdown in the past, we needed
procedures....

Hi folks, we need to organize on the
election of Matthew Shears for Board seat 14.
I have reached out to Carlton Samuels, to tick
the box of consulting with our nomcom
appointee (no response so far) and I have been
chatting with Dean Marks from the CSG, who is
keen to cooperate. We are trying to meet this
new deadline of April 20, can we organize to
hold our election next week in time to offer
our name? The CSG thinks they can.

Sorry to push but we have to get
this done faster now due to ICANN's revised
timelines....since we are agreed on the
candidate, it is just paperwork....
formal notification of a nominee for
