<p class="MsoNormal">I been involved in the NCSG policy before as much I continue to follow up on policies that continue to be of interest on a more general interest to the community in an individual or NPO interest or groups for the interest of internet. I
have been very much involved in ISOC as much as t the personal level with government officials as much as possible to interest and make aware on the needed policies, but I recognize that at many levels the government does not have a clue. I take as much liberty
as possible to inform and guide the key people to interest them in the needed actions as much as to the community of people who deserve to be educated in actions and decisions where policy affects them.

<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p class=""> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I continue to be active as much as I can although I have been before involved in the bylaw’s review and RDAP and other policy WG. I actually just follow the groups and subgrpups as these are still of interest but there still so much politics
involved and I did not want to force a voice because I felt that it would not even matter. I am more acting on the ICANN budget review WG now and try my best to act in an objective view. I am applying for the travel opportunity to regain some traction on what
is happening n the ground but it does not directly affect any of my decisions but I would as much as last time endeavor to continue in support of NCSG on policy and other areas where I may bring in my personal commitment and attention to. I have not been able
to however give much time for the past few months as I have undergone a major surgery and spent most of the past 3-4 months at the hospital. I am out and have majorly recovered from that surgery. I still believe in the work of the NCSG and will continue to
support it as much as I can and given the opportunity would take leadership roles and influencing policy as much as possible. I continue to follow discussions offline but would act or give my input when I feel it is needed and required.<o:p class=""></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p class=""> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I do take the commitment as per the required to submit a report as much as dedicated to the NCSG/NCUC work as we face more and more challenges. I will be in attendance of all NCSG/NCUC meetings onsite while still be involved in the WGs
meetings as per schedule so that I can continue to update and up myself or raise myself to the opportunity to act as required.<o:p class=""></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p class=""> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">I personally respect those who have been around before me and I continue to support those who are deserving. So, in hindsight I request the leadership to still consider my other friends who are more deserving as travelling is not what makes
the input and impact happen but surely gives insight as to the feeling and strategy that many are doing and prepared to impact on policies. It is also a better way to network with other friends and colleagues.

<p class="MsoNormal">My application is from Africa as I had to move fully to MAURITIUS. I know that there has been quite a few from the country attending and attended under such opportunity.
