In my view, at that moment, the difference in expressing support before or after the voting period had started was that the second one had less impact precisely because people were already convinced or even already sent their ballots. I forgot to manifest my support earlier, just came back from traveling this morning, and ended up thinking about the support message much less than I should have before sending - I didn't see it as campaigning, which is the reason for my first answer here, but really should have been more attentive to how it would actually sound. We need to be rules based on this sort of thing. She is collaborative, principled and able to stand her ground when it matters. At this moment, NCSG needs someone who can bring people together while also defending the community’s interests with clarity and courage.</p><p>For the Council seats, I would like to nominate Christabel Mebaghandu and Juan Manuel.</p><p dir="auto"><span style="font-size:inherit">I have had the opportunity to see Christabel grow over the years as a mentee and emerging policy voice within our community. I have been particularly impressed by her contributions within the ongoing DNS Abuse Working Group and by her overall commitment to policy processes and community engagement. We often speak about building the next generation of leadership, but at some point we must also be willing to give them the same opportunity and trust that many of us once received when others believed in us.</span><br></p><p dir="auto"><span style="font-size:inherit">I would also like to nominate Juan Manuel, a respected veteran within the community whose experience, institutional memory and long standing engagement continue to be valuable assets for the NCSG and the broader ecosystem.</span></p><p dir="auto">Best regards,<br><b>
