<p>ICANN's mission is to help ensure a <b>stable, secure and unified global Internet</b>. Established in 1998 as a not-for-profit corporation with a community of participants from around the world, ICANN helps coordinate and support these
unique global identifiers. Within this structure, the ISPCP ensures that the <b>
views of Internet service providers and connectivity providers contribute to the achievement of ICANN's goals</b> and objectives. The constituency also works to protect the interests and concerns of the ISP and connectivity industry.</p>

<p>The <b>Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN)</b> Technical Engagement team, in collaboration with the <b>Internet Service Providers and Connectivity Providers (ISPCP)</b> constituency, is excited to announce a series
of <b>training sessions</b> aimed at both technical and non-technical individuals, focusing on topics related to the Domain Name System (DNS). <b>These sessions are intended for all Internet Service Providers (ISPs) globally</b>.</p>

<p>This session, <b>DNS related threats</b>, is scheduled for <b>Thursday 10 April 2025 from 15:00 UTC to 16:30 UTC.</b> DNS is an open service and, therefore, exposed to vulnerabilities, like any other Internet application. To take any
action or decision about how to prevent these vulnerabilities, we must first know them and know what options we have, to resolve or mitigate them. This training will give you an overview of common DNS abuse techniques and explain DNS related protocols, extensions,
and best practices on how to prevent or mitigate them during your operations.</p>
