    <p>Hi, with thanks to Ken and all who worked on this, what
      happened?  What are the <u>specific protections</u> for
      Registrants in the transfer policy?</p>
    <p>Over the many years, we have commented on the need for notice -
      no transferring our domain names without making sure that we (the
      Registrant) have expressly, clearly, knowingly agreed.  We have
      written many comments on this, and discussed this at many policy
      and information sessions.  <br>
    </p>
    <p>I can't think of anything more important -- so to our
      participants, what happened? What did you get - and thank you for
      getting it!<br>

                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">A couple of
                      weeks ago, on January 28, 2025, the Transfer
                      Policy Report PDP Working Group convened its last
                      meeting. </span></p>
                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"> </span></p>
                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">After more
                      than four and a half years, and many hundreds of
                      conference calls, the TPR WG concluded its
                      activities and last week, on February 4, 2025,
                      issued its final report to the GNSO. As noted in
                      the report’s preamble, it contains the results of
                      the “Working Group’s deliberations on charter
                      questions and its 47 final policy
                      recommendations”. </span></p>
                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"> </span></p>
                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Although I
                      came to the Working Group later in its
                      discussions, it was clear that even though many of
                      the key issues revolved around registrar and
                      registry processes, the NCSG substantially
                      contributed to the discussions in support of
                      protections for registrants. I believe that the
                      recommendations ultimately provide a reasonable
                      balance between the needs of each of the
                      stakeholder groups involved, and at the end there
                      was full consensus on the recommendations.</span></p>
                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB"> </span></p>
                  <p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-GB">Besides
