<div>The Public Interest Registry (PIR) has put out a call for new members to its Advisory Council on 23rd July <a href="https://thenew.org/pir-welcomes-applications-for-advisory-council/" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">https://thenew.org/pir-welcomes-applications-for-advisory-council/</a> . <br></div><div><br></div><div>In the past NCSG has had a seat on the Advisory Council, despite not having done so in the last 2 years. In keeping with the tradition, we would like to offer PIR a slate of 3 candidates for their Nomcom to select one from there. If you are interested in applying, please send your application to the NCSG Policy Committee, via me (<a href="mailto:mesumbeslin@gmail.com" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">mesumbeslin@gmail.com</a>) and Andrea Glandon (<a href="mailto:andrea.glandon@icann.org" rel="noreferrer" target="_blank">andrea.glandon@icann.org</a>) (in cc) no later than Wednesday 24th August.
