Leadership is a big task where we review past actions and ask leaders who are worthy of those positions to continue to serve.</div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">On this note I'd like to nominate Ioana Stupariu for NPOC Secretariat and Oreoluwa Lesi for Communications Chair.</div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">I believe Ioana has a very strong organizational project management skills sets which she can bring the experience to bear having seen some of those demonstrated initiative outside NPOC.</div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Additionally, Oreoluwa Lesi has demonstrated a strong work ethic as the outgoing Secretary and I believe she can still make a better contribution to the organisation via her great communication skills sets.</div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div id="ydp34d11debyiv4457406658yMail_cursorElementTracker_1589484057383" style="font-family: Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Thank you and I wish you all the best in coming elections.</div></div>Vernatius</div><div><br></div>

Once nominated, the nominee is responsible for public acceptance of the nomination<span class="yiv4816206648apple-converted-space"> </span>and for making a *public statement* that includes:<br>

- Name, declared region of residence, gender and employment;<br>
- Any conflicts of interest;<br>
- Reasons for willingness to take on the tasks of the particular position;<br>
- Qualifications for the position;<br>
- Statement of availability for the time the position requires; and<br>
- Optionally, any other information that the candidate believes is relevant.<br>
