   as a GNSO/NCSG rep in the ATRT 3 team I want to update where we are in the process:

   During the last weekend we had our "final meeting" (in ICANN´s office in Brussels) where we went through the comments from ICANN community members and stakeholder groups, after our draft report (220+ pages) was put to public comment in December 2019. We got many very useful comments from a many corners of the ICANN ecosystem (in total more than 100 pages). We went through all comments page by page and included as much as possible in the new version of the final report and the set of recommendations we have to give to the ICANN board. If you will compare the December 2019 version with the new version, you will see a lot of enhancements. We had extensive disucussions, inter alia, how a "prioritization process" could be organized and how the future of the complex review processes within ICANN coud be made more efficient, to avoid community burn out by leaving the oversight over ICANN´s multistakeholder and multisectoral activities, and in particular the activities of the ICANN board, in the hand of the empowered community.

   The revised draft report will be available in Cancun for some final discussions. The plan is to deliver the final version to ICANN on March 31st, 2020. ATRT3 started on April 1, 2019. Within this one year we had next to our F2F meetings 45 telcos, interviews and individual consultations with many community members. We reached out as much as we could  and we reached our aim, to finalize our work within the given time frame without any need for a further extension. There will be a blog post soon. I hope that the outcome of the report will be useful for the further development of ICANN as a whole. We tried to develop SMART recommenations (specific, meaningful, achievable, realistic, time bound). And we hope that the report will contribute to more transparency and higher accountability.

   It was an interesting experience to work within this great multistakeholder team, co-chaired by CLO and Pat Kane. We had also great support from ICANN Org, in particular Jennifer and Negir did a great job.
