as one of the ATRT3 members, nominated by the NCSG/GNSO Council, I want to give a short feedback where we are with the process and what the NCSG-community could and should do now.

1. The draft report (223 pages) ist now online and open for public comment.

2. The report covers 10 issues (1. Board, 2. GAC, 3. Public Input, 4. Acceptance of ICANN Decisions, 5. PDP, 6. IRP, 7. Implementation of ATRT2, 8. Reviews, 9. Accountability Indicators, 10. Prioritization). We will have also two chapters on SO/AC accountability and on Interdependencies of Recommendations.

3. The report includes a number of recommendations and suggestions. So far, this is not yet a consensus document and we are still working with options. Insofar, public input, in particular from our (NCSG-) community is not only welcome, but also needed.

4. The plan is to collect the input and to finalize the draft in a F2F meeting, scheduled for February 7 - 9, 2020 in Brussels.

5. The work of the ATRT3 team started on April 1, 2019 and will end March 31, 2020.

6. The draft report is the outcome of a broad range of different activities, including questionnaires, surveys, interviews, F2F meeting with the community during the ICANN meetings in Marrakesh and Montreal. The ATRT3 team did have four F2F meetings (including the ICANN meetings in Marrakesh and Montreal) and about 40 Telcos. It did develop a great team spirit which produced a consensus on the majority of the issues. However, as indicated above, there are issues (as, inter alia, recommendations on the future of periodic and organizational reviews) where the ATRT3 team has not yet reached consensus and is looking for input from the community.

I want to use this opportunity to thank NCSG members for the support and the feedback I got during the recent months via e-mail or in personal F2F discussions during ICANN meetings. This was helpful and contributed to the text, which is now open for public comment.
