under-served to platforms like Facebook, rather than the DNS,
which is partly fueled by the unaffordability of Internet

of ICANN's ambit, and therefore unlikely to be accepted.</font></font></p>

I agree. As someone who has worked for decades with the public
housing community in New York City, including community
networking, there is a significant underserved population
(estimated at 200,000) that, though it is "available", do not
have Internet access at home.</div>

fall within cities who have leverage over other.

look at a topic that tackles or try to address issues of
the underserved communities. Example topi: Community
Networks and Inclusion: The case of the underserved
Communities. </div>

or even in the developed world, there is still communities
that are still underserved and need to be served.</div>

items from ICANN 66, and we are hitting
deadlines for input to the planning for ICANN
67. Tomorrow is the deadline for our input for
suggested topics for the high interest panels
for the meeting in Cancun in March....now I sure
that can stretch, but lets start a discussion
please. It has been agreed that we do not need
to discuss DNS Abuse again, after the panel in
Montreal. So far one of the proposed topics is
he DNS and the Internet of Things:
Opportunities, risks and Challenges. I know
there has been a lively discussion about the PIR
sale, but I don't think it is a suitable topic
for such a panel, others may disagree.</font></font></p>
