<p><font size="+1"><font face="Lucida Grande">I take your point about the response to burnout, it was why I hesitated to even bring it up again. However, and perhaps I am just painfully aware of my own failings as a leader, but we as a group are going out
like a candle. We have missed several key comments lately because we just had no volunteers to draft. We are conspicuous by our absence on a number of committees. Those on the EPDP are struggling to keep up with that committee alone, let alone others.</font></font></p>
<p><font size="+1"><font face="Lucida Grande">My own view is that EPDP as an issue appears to be a bit of a sore point...not sure I want it to be our focus. We have been (and continue to be) highly critical about how this matter has been handled. I would
prefer to broach a more neutral topic, but if it is the will of the group I am of course happy enough to take it on.</font></font></p>

We have a very small number of volunteers actively engaged on committees and PDPs, and high expectations from rank and file members with respect to results. However, I am happy to entertain other single focus topics if folks have ideas for a more interesting
them....I realize that talking about burnout is never popular.</font></span></div>

that should be done/improved in order to implement these plans successfully, starting 1 July 2020, as mandated by our Bylaws. In addition, the Board asked for <u>one suggestion</u> of something that could be done <u>externally</u> to improve trust and with
our partners and alliances (eg. IETF) so that they collaborate effectively with ICANN on some of our strategic objectives (eg. DNS security).</span><span style="font-size:11pt"></span></p>
