the State: Governing the Global Internet at ICANN’.</span><span

The project investigates attitudes towards ICANN
among board, community, and staff. It will indicate
how these views vary and why. The findings in turn
can provide important suggestions for ICANN’s future
development.<br class="">

The study is entirely independent: it is conducted
by researchers at the University of Gothenburg with
funding from the Swedish Research Council. You may
also recall that I was an independent advisor to the
CCWG-Accountability during the IANA transition.<br

We invite your input through an interview of 30-40
minutes. If, as we hope, you agree to participate,
then we would try to schedule a time that is
convenient for you. We can conduct the interview
either via Skype, phone, or face-to-face at ICANN64
in Kobe.<br class="">

Please be assured that your interview answers will
be treated with complete anonymity and
confidentiality. The data attaches no names or
specific positions. Interview recordings are erased
after transcription by research assistants who have
no connection to ICANN and so no voice recognition.
