 with the Empowered Community responsibilities that would need to be incorporated into the establishment of any entity).</div></div></blockquote><div><br></div><div>I can only speak for my experience in Finland, but the responsibilities are pretty much as follows: 1) Names of people running the board and electing them every two years or more often 2) At least one official meeting in a year setting out budget and plan for next year and auditing the account + possibly selecting the new board.<br><br></div><div>That's pretty much it.<br><br></div><div>The CSG has registered as a nonprofit association in the USA and I doubt that they asked for a permission from ICANN to establish it. You <i>might</i> be right though and I guess we'd really need to ask them. That should be quite easy to answer to, though.<br><br>I'm not sure what Empowered Community responsibilities you mean. I think our current charters will go a long way as the charter of a new registered nonprofit entity.<br><br></div><div>-Raoul<br></div><br></div></div>
