for, and draft them? Also comments on the five year plan, so we can see if our thin dribble of travel funding is going to be cut, depending on future revenue calculations? Hands up, who has read it? I am sorry folks, I do take this matter rather seriously,
but we have bigger fish to fry at the moment. This is not my biggest priority, settling on where to open an account.

No-one has yet spoken about legal liabilities that come from establishing a legal entity, and I also don’t believe that anyone has spoken to ICANN legal yet (Currently we only exist as an entity within the ICANN bylaws, also there are interactions with
the Empowered Community responsibilities that would need to be incorporated into the establishment of any entity).

I can only speak for my experience in Finland, but the responsibilities are pretty much as follows: 1) Names of people running the board and electing them every two years or more often 2) At least one official meeting in a year setting out budget and plan
for next year and auditing the account + possibly selecting the new board.

That's pretty much it.

The CSG has registered as a nonprofit association in the USA and I doubt that they asked for a permission from ICANN to establish it. You
might be right though and I guess we'd really need to ask them. That should be quite easy to answer to, though.

I'm not sure what Empowered Community responsibilities you mean. I think our current charters will go a long way as the charter of a new registered nonprofit entity.
