This is a lot more complicated a topic than I think people are giving credit to.
<div class="">No-one has yet spoken about legal liabilities that come from establishing a legal entity, and I also don’t believe that anyone has spoken to ICANN legal yet (Currently we only exist as an entity within the ICANN bylaws, also there are interactions
with the Empowered Community responsibilities that would need to be incorporated into the establishment of any entity).</div>

Of course it's straightforward to open an account in Canada by a Canadian with another Canadian signator, but that's not what we wanted to accomplish here.<br class="">

Why we suggested Estonia, was because it is actually very flexible to <font size="4" class="">
<i class=""><b class="">change signatories to ppl who live almost anywhere in the world</b></i><font size="2" class=""> and they wouldn't have to come to Estonia to do so</font></font>. Estonia also has less restrictions, on who
<b class=""><font size="4" class="">can</font></b> be a signatory in USA or Canada, as far as I know. For example, both of our FC members are African and I think it would make sense that at least one of them is a signatory.<br class="">

Yes, Estonia is cutting edge with its e-residency ID (that's hardly a fault), but it's just as reliable as most European countries. If you opened an account in Canada for NCSG Stephanie, the new signatories would have to be visiting Canada or USA and we would
be back right where we started.<br class="">

<div class="">We could probably even use a Finnish bank that has branches in Estonia, like Handelsbank or Nordea. The latter is the biggest bank in the Nordic countries and I think at least that one is just as reliable as a big Canadian bank.<br class="">
