<div>From what I understand, the proposal from ICANN org to suspend the work of the RDS 2 Review Team came about in July 2018, when the Review Team was already scheduled to have a face-to-face meeting in Brussels that same month. Because it seemed near, then, to completing its work, cancelling it and starting the process all over again in 2019 (before we even knew that the EPDP would be initiated, or whether it would make any progress) seemed premature when the RDS 2 RT had already completed the bulk of its work. I think that's why the NCSG, at the time, supported the RDS 2 RT continuing.<br></div><div><br></div><div>Ayden <br></div><div class="protonmail_signature_block"><div class="protonmail_signature_block-proton protonmail_signature_block-empty"><br></div></div><div><br></div><div>‐‐‐‐‐‐‐ Original Message ‐‐‐‐‐‐‐<br></div><div> On Friday, 16 November 2018 17:55, Mueller, Milton L <milton@GATECH.EDU> wrote:<br></div><div> <br></div><blockquote type="cite" class="protonmail_quote"><div><p><span style="color:rgb(31, 73, 125)"><span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11pt">I am just curious about this part of the comment:</span></span></span><br></p><p><span style="color:rgb(31, 73, 125)"><span style="font-family:"Calibri", sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11pt"> </span></span></span><br></p><p><span style="color:black"><span style="font-family:"Arial", sans-serif"><span style="font-size:11pt">“Having said that, we do therefore approve of the group continuing its work once it started, and did not agree with the ICANN Org proposal to the GNSO Council to
