We are preparing for our elections, so it's an exciting time (new members who joined us for less than 30 days since the process started will not receive a ballot, but you can watch the party and attend the candidates' call)</div><div style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">The structure of NCSG and its constituencies might be confusing at first. I have attached some slides which might make things clearer and your constituency will also have its own program and introductory materials about getting engaged. You can also find out about various committees and activities by checking their open archive mailing lists, see how the leaders decide and what they do (referenced in slides)</div><div style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">There is a learning curve but the leadership of NCSG and its constituencies try hard to make it easier for the new members. Especially the Policy Committee Chair has done a great job this year and we have had one of our best years in terms of issuing public comments, which has engaged new members. So don't hesitate to reach out if you want to help us. </div><div style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">The hottest topic nowadays is the WHOIS policy group (we call it EPDP-expedited policy development process) that was formed to discuss compliance with GDPR and privacy laws. NCSG has six appointed members to the group and 3 alternates.
