<div dir="ltr"><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">All,</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">I have been told by the trainer and ICANN staff that having remote participation for NCSG capacity building course is not optimal. This face to face meeting is the starting point for the course material to be created and they are going to have break out sessions. The whole Face to Face meeting will be video recorded and the recording will be used by ICANN Learn as materials for the online course to be developed. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">We want to emphasize on the online segment of this course, hence I am going to ask if possible to give certificates to those who will take the course online, watch the videos and write a short blog about a policy topic in the future. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">The attendees of the NCSG policy course are: all the NCSG councilors (6 members), 6 NCUC members, 5 NPOC members. Since only 5 NPOC members were available we had to put forward another member's name who would be already there. Su Sonia Herring had expressed availability and eagerness in the past to attend so we submitted her name. </div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif">Best</div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div class="gmail_default" style="font-family:verdana,sans-serif"><br></div><div><div class="gmail_signature" data-smartmail="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><font face="verdana, sans-serif">Farzaneh </font></div></div></div></div>
