find attached a letter which the NCSG sent today to the
Article 29 Working Party, the committee of data commissioners
in the European Union who work together to coordinate opinions
on data protection issues. Goran Marby invited the
stakeholder groups at ICANN to reach out to the Working Party,
engage with them, and present their views on ICANN's efforts
to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Many thanks to Farzi</font></font><font size="+1"><font
face="Lucida Grande"> Badiei for starting this effort, Ayden
Ferdeline for valuable comments, and the Policy Committee for
expediting its passage. We had to amend the first draft to
reflect a few brief comments on the interim model which ICANN
released on February 28. We will be watching for further
details on the interim model, and then prepare further
comments. <br>
