Hereby I would like to nominate Dr. Stefania Milan for a GNSO council<br>
position for the NCSG. Stefania has shown a lot of initiative while on<br>
the NCUC executive community, especially to make the NCSG more<br>
visible, transparent and accessible for people outside of ICANN. Her<br>
knowledge of languages (including Spanish and Portuguese) could<br>
greatly benefit the important work of (further) diversifying the<br>
membership and stimulating engagement.<br>

Furthermore Stefania has shown a very thorough understanding of Internet<br>
Governance issues, both in ICANN and beyond, through her impressive body<br>
of academic writing in which grassroots issues get connected to<br>
international governance questions.<br>

With Stefania's experience in the GAC, as and academic, as a grassroots<br>
activist and member of the NCUC EC I think she has very good credentials<br>
to represent us in the GNSO council.<br>
