repeat;">If the GAC responds in a negative fashion then, yes, we probably
should issue a statement in support of the Board's position. Until that
time I'm not sure what purpose a supportive statement from the NCSG
would serve. I'm pretty sure both the Board and the GAC can anticipate
our position on the issue and the fact we have a Board actually agreeing to
follow it's Bylaws shouldn't be noteworthy (although with this
group...).</div>

repeat;">As to the other aspect of Avri's comments, I'm in complete
agreement. I submitted a DIDP, one that was improved by Steph, to the old PC
a few months ago and there it continues to sit, outdated. Now that we
apparently have a full complement of members on the PC I hope we can get
organised in a manner that will allow for coordinated action on public
comments, appeals etc. I actually enjoy doing PC's so am happy to
contribute and / or help others do so as we move forward.</div>
