<div dir="ltr">Hi Stephanie,<div><br></div><div>technology can help but we still human beings to do stuff. I am discussing with the admin support that we got (she will spend 12 hours per week for NCSG , same for NCUC and NPOC) . I am working with her to see what tasks need to be done and what can be improved to make things more easy for our members e.g for meetings, confcall, communication, online workspace etc.</div><div><br></div><div>in term of workspace, we have the wikispace. it is based in confluence and it is really powerful and flexible. for example, for those who has an account ( anybody who join a working group , in GNSO council etc) can "watch" or "favourite" a page and so anytime there is update, he/she will receive a notification . you request looks more elaborated. other CS groups may use different tools to keep track or do project management (basecamp), but that will add some overhead and cost we have to investigate and support.</div><div class="gmail_extra">I will welcome here concrete proposal or in-kind help , the idea is not to create a whole complex ecosystem of tools that we will have difficulty to maintain but something easy to use and simple.</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br></div><div class="gmail_extra">Best,</div><div class="gmail_extra"><br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr">Rafik <br></div></div>

Thanks Rafik, and I have a confession to make. For the last twenty
five years of my working life, I had an admin assistant.
Organization is not one of my innate skills, and I was delighted
(thrilled, ecstatic, relieved) to hand over the organization of my
life to that person. So I am really terrible at keeping track of
things, as I have been spoilt.<br>
This is why I am looking for a system that will replace a human, an
impossible task!<br>
And please don't think I am criticizing your terrific efforts to
keep us all rowing the boat the same way, I just know I need all the
help I can get. <br>
cheers steph<br>
PS maybe the wiki could send us all automatic alerts a set number of
days before the deadlines? like a calendar nag?<div><div><br>

am working with the new admin support to improve it and make it

We are also working on using calendar to track important dates

Finally, any contribution, concrete suggestion or help is

do that Nuno, and I would welcome all suggestions about how
to achieve that goal. It is hard because we are all so busy
in NCSG, what could be the best, most economical (in terms
of time and information overload) to do this? I think we
need a running roster of all the work activities somewhere
easy to access...I know that I lose track of the three
working groups I am on, and I certainly lost track of the
comment periods open<br>

Anyway, ideas most welcome! I think we are all committed to
getting folks more involved, and building a dynamic
constituency in these busy times.<br>
