I’d like to thank Dhouha for nominating me, and Tapani for seconding
her nomination, to represent the NCSG on the GNSO Council. For those who
then followed with their support: community leaders like Cintra and Nuno,
relative newcomers like Patrick and Carlos, and everyone else: thank you for
your confidence in me.<br>

Desiree is right – we have a great group of candidates. Let’s
not forget our returning Counselors, Avri and Amr: they both define the term
‘work ethic’. Whomever is selected to join them on Council are
very lucky Amr and Avri will be there to guide and direct them as we put
together the best possible team to represent our community.<br>
<br>
One request: each of us has four votes. Please cast your first vote for
David Cake. As Vice Chair, David is positioned to do more for the
noncommercial community than anyone else. We need him on Council. So,
please, first vote for David and then take a look at the rest of us and vote
as your heart and head suggests.<br>
<br>
With that in mind, I do accept the nomination made by Dhouha. I can’t
promise miracles, but I can promise that if I am selected I’ll work as
hard as I can to represent noncommercial interests, both organizations and
individuals, on the Council and beyond.<br>

Any member of the NCSG may nominate any NCSG active member either for the
position of an NCSG GNSO Council Representative or for NCSG Chair.<br>
Once nominated, the nominee is responsible for public acceptance of the
nomination and for making a <strong>public statement</strong> that
